Where You’ll Find Me This Week: In Boston!

“Will you be eating clam chowder?” A friend asked when I mentioned I was on my way to Boston. Chowda here I come. On Thursday, May 9th at 7 p.m. Back Pages Books in Waltham will be hosting the official East Coast Launch of The Business of Baby (with slides and refreshments), co-sponsored by the Schuster Institute for Investigative Journalism. Florence George Graves, the investigative journalist who founded the Schuster Institute and was responsible for breaking the story about Senator Bob Packwood’s sexual misconduct, and I will be speaking. Back Pages Books 289 Moody Street Waltham, Massachusetts On Saturday, May 11th at 10 a.m., I’ll be part of a panel discussion with four smart, savvy, interesting author mamas: “Healthy Families, Parental Choices, Global Lessons.” It’s the first time we’re appearing in public together and we plan to rock the house. Cambridge Public Library 449 Broadway Cambridge, Massachusetts   They’ll be books available for purchase at both events. My daughters made this nifty sign: Live too far from Boston to attend?
